E-Pathshala and Digital Literacy: An Assessment of Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Irrespective of the category of education, maintaining productivity in learning is the primary objective; thus, with time the methods of learning, teaching, and usage of alternative sources are undergoing rapid changes. “Learning Outcomes” may be attributed as any change in the individual behavior, attitude, knowledge or understanding, etc. as a result of any educational intervention irrespective of whether such changes are intended or unintended. In this respect, the Information and Technology environment helping advanced innovative resources are being experimented in the Indian education system which also intensified in the inception of the Pandemic. The novel initiative to capture e-content in a uniform manner from PG (Post Graduate) Senior Undergraduate subjects was initiated as the National Mission of Education through ICT. The exercise to develop e-content for the Post-Graduate Senior Undergraduate subjects was carried out in pursuance of the Budget Announcement for the year 2013-14.
