Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
THE VISIONARY SPECTRUM: JOURNAL OF INNOVATION AND INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and professional conduct. The journal follows the guidelines and ethical principles recommended by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) to ensure ethical publishing practices at all stages of the publication process.
Duties of Authors
- Authors must submit original, authentic, and unpublished research work.
- The similarity index/plagiarism in the manuscript should not exceed 10%.
- Authors should properly acknowledge all references, sources, and contributions used in the research work.
- Submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or unethical research practice is unacceptable.
- Authors must disclose any conflict of interest, funding support, or ethical approval related to the research.
- Authors are responsible for correcting significant errors identified before or after publication.
Duties of Reviewers
- Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially.
- Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of the submitted manuscripts and should not use unpublished information for personal benefit.
- Reviewers should provide constructive feedback and identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
- Reviewers must report any suspected plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or conflict of interest to the editorial board.
- Reviewers should complete the review process within the assigned time frame.
Duties of Editors
- Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased publication decisions based on the academic merit of the manuscript.
- Editors should ensure confidentiality, transparency, and integrity throughout the editorial and review process.
- Editors must evaluate manuscripts without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional affiliation.
- Editors should take appropriate action in cases of ethical complaints, plagiarism, or publication malpractice.
- Editors must avoid conflicts of interest regarding submitted manuscripts.
AI and Ethical Compliance
- Authors may use AI-assisted tools only for language editing or research support with proper human supervision.
- AI-generated content without verification, fabricated information, or misleading data is strictly prohibited.
- AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors of the manuscript.
Publication Malpractice
Any unethical publishing behavior including plagiarism, citation manipulation, fake authorship, data fabrication, duplicate publication, copyright infringement, or peer-review manipulation will be treated seriously. The journal reserves the right to reject, retract, or remove published articles and take appropriate academic action when malpractice is identified.
